Four churches an outreach mission in Hawai‘i.On the most populous island, O‘ahu, we have three English-speaking congregations and one Spanish-language congregation. The three English churches have been meeting in weekly joint services each Sunday morning since the first week of January 2008. Under the name REUNION (www.reunionhawaii.com (http://www.reunionhawaii.com) ) the three churches combine forces for greater impact and outreach. They meet in the Cafetorium of Pearl Harbor Kai Elementary School in Honolulu each Sunday at 10:00 AM. Adding to the outreach impact of the weekly REUNION, the services are streamed live in a webcast at http://www.reunionhawaii.com/webcast/index.html (http://www.reunionhawaii.com/webcast/index.html) and an extensive archive of past service videos is available from a link on that page. After editing for time, those same services are rebroadcast on local cable television in a weekly one-hour program called Reunion Church on Oceanic Cable channel 52.The Spanish language congregation meets on Sunday afternoons at 1:00 PM in the facilities of the Waimanalo Assembly of God. On the Big Island of Hawai‘i we have an outreach mission primarily focused upon feeding the homeless and hungry in a park in Hilo. Each Sunday morning a group of volunteers provides a hot meal, encouragement and hope to as many as 400 people. Many of them are the homeless outcasts of society, while others are the elderly and working poor struggling to keep their families fed in tough economic times, in one of the nation's most expensive places to live.

We'd love to meet you, so please stop by and introduce yourself. We will have a few small items from Hawaii that you might pick up and leave a small donation, and we plan to have a door prize of Hawaii items. There will also be some information about the mission and work of the COGOP in Hawaii available, and we hope you will pick up the handouts and prayerfully consider partnering with us in that mission.Bishop Gary LangleyOverseer of Hawaii

Yesterday all servers in the U.S. went out on strike in a bid to get more RAM and better CPUs. A spokes person said that the need for better RAM was due to some fool increasing the front-side bus speed. In future, busses will be told to slow down in residential motherboards.
